The committee members of the Malaysian Association of Modern Languages (MAML) carried out an activity reaching out to serve the community on 28th June 2015. The main objective of this program was to foster closer relationship between the community and members of this Association thus enabling the members of the Association to contribute to the community.
A total of seven committee members of the association and four students of the Faculty of Languages and Linguistics (FLL) had carried out various activities with the orphans at Kompleks Penyayang Bakti, Sungai Buloh, Selangor.

All the above FLL students were given certificates of appreciation and RM50.00 each for their contribution as facilitators. Besides giving a motivational talk, various group activities pertaining to financial spending/management were also conducted.
The Association contributed RM600.00 to the orphanage which consists of 41 orphans. Members of the Association (18 members) also contributed to the orphanage. In total a sum of RM3549.00 was donated to the orphanage. It was hoped that this contribution would further enhance the Hari Raya celebration among the orphans.
